Hello,

To secure access to the TeachMint Smart Board there seems to be an option to use a Pin or Password. But using it requires typing it on the screen which can be seen by the audience

What is the alternative to typing the pin/password on the screen using the virtual keyboard **which can be seen by the audience(students) or get clearly recorded by the CCTV?**

Thank you.

Dear Sir/Ma’am,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We understand your concern regarding entering a PIN or password on the screen, as it may be visible to students or captured by CCTV recordings.

As an alternative, we recommend using the **NFC Unlock feature** available under the Security settings of the Teachmint Smart Board.

With this feature:

- Teachers can use their assigned NFC cards to unlock the Smart Board.

- There is no need to enter a PIN or password on the screen.

- Students will not be able to unlock the board unless they have an authorised NFC card.

This provides a more convenient and secure way to restrict access to the Smart Board while maintaining privacy.
