How to create an Institute ID & Owner/Admin profile on our Teachmint connected app?
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through the process:
1)Open Teachmint Website:
-Open a new tab in Google Chrome and type www.teachmint.com in the address bar.
2)Log In or Sign Up:
-Click on the Login button located in the top-right corner of the page.
-Enter your phone number or email address to sign up. You will receive an OTP for verification.
3)Verify and Set Password:
-Enter the OTP to verify your account.
-(Optional) Set a password for your account for added security.
4)Select Role:
-Choose “Owner” to proceed.
5)Fill in Your Account Details:
-Enter details such as your name and username, then click on “Create Account”.
6)Add Institute Details:
-Provide your institute details, including the institute name, type, and phone number, then click on “Create Institute”.
You have now successfully created your Institute ID (TFI ID) and can access the owner’s dashboard!
After verifying the OTP, it creates a student account; no option for selecting a role is shown.
Hi @muneer22 ! We do have an option to select the account type during signup. It’s possible that something didn’t load correctly. Could you please share a screen recording of the issue on support@teachmint.com? That would really help us debug it better.

If you are already added to an institute(by your school/teacher) then you see the student account as in below screenshot. You can add more accounts of other roles by using the “Add Account” option.
You will need to re-verify your mobile number via OTP and then you will get the option to create a new account as in the below screenshot.
Once you select create new you will have the below roles as options:
Post this you can follow the profile creation steps.
