When I record a lecture for online classes or in offline classes using the Teachmint whiteboard app, there is a permanent bar at the top of the screen showing the Classroom ID and ‘Go Live’ options. This reduces the usable screen size. Other whiteboards, like Note5, don’t have this issue. Furthermore, if I try to hide that top bar, the bottom tools disappear as well.
There is also a second issue: when I insert a PDF file to teach, using the selection tool (whether by tapping or circling) causes the entire screen to be selected instead of just the specific part I want.
Thirdly, regarding the writing tools, there is currently only a pen tool. It would be much better if features like a brush tool were added. I hope these problems are fixed in a future update to provide a smoother experience. I chose Teachmint because it is an Indian company and I trust the brand, but these software limitations create many difficulties during daily teaching."
