In test creation part of the teachmint - I have created a test and did not mark any final submission date, but it is seen that the test ends immediately after the time allotted (30 minutes or whatsoever) whereas there should have an option in test creation that if no final submission date is mentioned then it should be live for ever. Hope something is done to improve.
Hi,
Thank you for sharing your feedback!
You’re absolutely right in observing that if no final submission deadline is set during test creation, the system automatically considers the test duration to define the end time. For example, if the test starts at 5 PM with a 1-hour duration, the deadline will automatically be 6 PM. This approach helps ensure fairness by making sure all students start and end the test at the same time, minimizing any chances of cheating or answer sharing.
That said, we truly appreciate your suggestion. We’ll definitely take this into consideration to improve how we communicate this logic on the test creation screen so it’s clearer and easier to understand while setting up the test.
Thanks again for helping us make Teachmint better!
